The short version: your screen goes over the cable between your two Macs and nowhere else. Encore has no account, no analytics and no tracking.
The app
- Your picture, sound and microphone travel only over the cable between your Mac and your iMac.
- Encore checks encoredisplay.com for updates a few times a day. The request contains nothing about you or your Macs.
- Your license is checked inside the app, without contacting us.
- Diagnostics stay on your Mac until you choose to send them to us.
Buying
Payments are handled by Stripe (shown to you as Link), which sells Encore to you as the merchant of record. Stripe receives your payment details and email under its own privacy policy. We receive your email address and what you bought, to send your license key and help you.
Support
If you write to us, we keep your emails only as long as we need them to help you.
